Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams born on 20th August 1974, Aviano Italy American actress. Famous for her critically acclaimed performances of charming, naive individuals. Adams was born and raised in Castle Rock Colorado, as one of the seven kids who was her smallest. Her father was in U.S. service in Italy. At the end of the 1990s, she began professional dance and acting at Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. In Minnesota she worked at a regional theater, where her character was in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) was a comedy documentary that focused on beauty magazines. Following her debut on screen as a charming but snarky contestant, she relocated into Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. She was the wife of the actor Tony Curtis from June 1951 from September 1962 to June 1951 and the mother of Kelly Curtis and Jamie Lee Curtis. She was discovered by actor Norma Shearer Leigh secured a deal with MGM and began her film career in the 1940s. She starred as Norma in various popular films through the years, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho which was released in 1960 as well as Living It Up, a Martin and Lewis film released in 1954.
